Crap, I never thought about the gas tube[]

I think I'll try blowing some compressed air through it before shooting it next to see if anything comes out. I would imagine that cleaning solvents tend to migrate into the gas tube anyhow? Maybe the worst that could happen is that it gets blown back into the receiver on the first shot?
Not entirely sure- I just cleaned the barrel onmine for the first time the other night- Bushmaster reccomended putting 500+ rounds through before cleaning to polish the chrome lining.

How sticky is the gunk from Wolf ammo? Is it hard to remove?
The new polimer stuff isn't sticky but feel like you got dirt in your hand when handling it. Mix that with oil adn its nasty. I was told I need to clean that residue out when cleaning. So I am not sure.
