Wouldn't it have been a lot less expensive to refletch with something to give a little more steerage?
I agree with this.. I , personally, had to go through several different types of fletching, quick spin 4" 2" and then feathers .. Finally leveled out, spun perfect wind or not.

I talked to the man again; he is going to have to double check the weight of the shafts. Not sure about it. He recently switched over to the full metal jacket carbon shafts.
Pertaining to the FPS you suggested on for my ol' mans set up; that seemsa bit low; I came up with 292.6 with the numbers I know forsure.
Sorry to come off wrong on this but that's not possible with the set-up you gave me. If you punched them into a program you have to adjust the program based on an actual chrono'd number or everything is invalid. It had my set-up at over 300 fps instead of the true 293.

My buddy's same bow with much lighter arrows and a higher draw weight only came up at 284 and he's had guys on Matthews forums telling him that is high. his arrow weighs just over 350 grains.
