Great pics! Quick question for you... Are you by any chance taking those pictures with a spotting scope and a camera attachment? It seems as though you're pretty far away because they're totally at ease, but the pics are nice and tight. I guess you could have a really bad a$$ camera setup. I have wanted one of those setups (scope/camera adapter) for a while now. I'm always looking for feedback from someone using one.
No spotting scope here! Just the camera, its a Panasonic DMC-FZ5 w/12X Optical Zoom, Image Stabilizer and all the bells and whistles!. It also takes Digital Video!Great camera, I bought it 2 years ago before I went hunting in Africa!
They were totally at ease, the Doe was about 65 yards and I was down wind. The buck was probably 85 yards and I was down wind. I watched the buck for a good 45 minutes and the Doe with her twins for about a half hour!
