Default Sight modification advice needed- Taping fiber optics back down.

I’ve recently purchased an HHA-5519 in camo with a .019” pin to replace my VBG pro-slide.
After checking the sight over I soon realized I was going to miss the glow in the dark under tape that the VBG uses. So I asked on AT and greenhead3 was kind enough to ship me some glow in the dark tape.

Next step, after unspooling the fiber optics on the sight, and then replacing the old tape with some glow in the dark tape I will have to tape the fiber optics back down.

The factory tape on both sights looks much different than standard scotch tape. It has to be rainproof and very clear.

Any Ideas on what they use, or what I should use to tape the fiber optics back down?
