it surprised me but then I found out it is in an effort to get more women and children into hunting
If they want more women and children in hunting, most stock rifles have a trigger pull of 5 pounds... if they cant pull back at least 40-45 lbs, they got no business bowhunting.Not saying they cant target shoot or enjoy the archery shooting sports at 30 lbs, but they shouldnt try to kill a big game animal with 30 lbs.
