What is wrong with this picture Im getting 52 lbs of KE. Im shooting a 25 1/4 in arrow at 8.2 gpi. That only gives me a 327 grain arrow? how is everyone else shooting so many grains? My arrow and broadhead are 307 with about 20 grains for fletchings. The last time i chronographed my arrow it was 265 if the chrono was even correct that is. what is the problem? I have to be shooting faster than 265! is it common to lose 45 fps off ibo?? with such a light arrow? Im a 28.5 in draw with 63 lbs on a hoyt havoctec
Draw length, draw weight, string silencers, arrow weight, real world... You loose about 10 fps per inch less than 30" draw and your weight is substantially less than 70 lbs. That means you're around 25 fps slower than IBO before you even add anything to the string or get a decent weight arrow, or shoot it through a chrono that isn't trying to lie to your customers to make them pick your bow over someone else's.
You're shooting a 25.25" arrow with a 28.5" draw length? Are you using an overdraw?
