My wifes cousin and I were turkey hunting in two different spots but not far from eachother one fall. I got settled against a nice tree as it started to drizzle a bit. Sitting there for abotu 30 minutes or so and its just getting light and I hear a loud crack..figured Mike jumped a deer or something..seconds later a nother crack, whap, followed by an OHH SH@T!!!, follwed by the smell of a skunk. When he got back to me I asked him what he was doing, he said he moved to a different spot and sat on asolid black skunk that was curled up against the tree sleeping, luckly he was able to get far enough away from the skunk before it sprayed him, be broke a large branch off a tree and proceeded to beat the skunk over the head.
