A former coworker had a funny story.

He hunted public land. It usually got a lot of pressure so he decided to get up extra early and get a jump on all the other hunters and get in the woods before everyone else.

He arrived extra early the next morning. There was no one there. He got out his bow and his gear and started to get ready. He realized he was really early and decided to just wait in his truck a little while before heading in the woods.

He started dozing off when he saw a car's headlight approaching. They pulled in beside his truck to hunt. In the process of pulling in beside him, they ran over his bow. He had it laying beside his truck ready to go.

He realized it was his fault and had no hard feelings towards the other hunters.

Can't help but wonder what went through his mind as he drove homewhen it was breaking daylight on the first day of the season.
