RE: wingbone calls
I have one that a guy made for me out of the wingbone from my first turkey. It sounds good to me. I practiced long and hard with it. Then my first day in the turkey woods with it, I had a small flock about 115 yards away, I hit the call and it sounded perfect to me. But all the turkeys took off running away at a very high speed. That was the last time I used a wingbone call. I figure it may make a good locator call.
