The 70 lb limbs require a stronger and heavier arrow so the actual diffference in speed won't be enormous. What you mostly lose is impact energy by dropping down. But don't forget that every year people kill Elk & Moose with recurve bows so a 60 lb bow will kill anything on this continent anyways.
