RE: food plot question
Peas and beens, when they find it they will stay on it. On a new location, put up a feeder, start with pure crack corn, once the start eating the corn switch it over to a non-molasys sweet feed, high in protien and vitamins, keep up with the sweet feed and once the peas and beans start growing you will keep them in that area. Works every time, and you dont spend near as much buying all the so-called miricle deer atractants which gets so expensive. Another tip, try to plant on the inner most portions of the land "away from the property lines" preferably near water, the less area a deer needs to travel to eat, drink and sleep the better for you!, this works well until rut starts to pick up. After the season is over go back to feeding the sweet feed and your deer population will show dramatic results next year.
