Thanks Greg, I will concur that some of Freds exploits were not totally within todays standards, but as you say, Fred lived in a different era with a different set of standards. I am by no stretch of the imagination downgrading Chuck Adams, but I doubt if he was given the same equipment he could match Fred Bears acheievements and as far as filling his pockets with money, you bet he did and so has Adams and a lot of other lesser hunters out there.

One question for you Steve, without Fred Bear do you feel that bow hunting would be where it is today?
