You will be able to geta few weeks with the soy beans. I always hunt them for first 2-3 weeks of the season. They start drying up pretty quick towards the end of september.
You must get your soys planted later in your area. Ours are usually drying up by Sept 1st. He is farther south then us and they usually get under way with planting even earlier by a week to 2 weeks. I wish the soybeans were still green here.
