Hey guys. My remington 700 ADL has a bad problem w/ surface rust. I'm not sure as to what the deal is because I use break free and other high quality lubricants and preservatives pretty regular. Was wondering if there is anything i can do to make my rifle more rust resistant. Don't care what it looks like really(it can be a camo'd spray paint for all i care) just don't want it to keep rusting. Any ideas?The finish on these new 700's are just not what they were 5 years ago, IMHO.
