Default Mature buck hunters

Note- Im not trying to stir a bees nest here, just an interesting question that came up with a co-worker.

It has been said on here many times during trophy deer, qdm vs tdm, and other various debates we have had in the past months. As we all know, a deer needs genetics, food and age to reach its potential, with age normally being the hardest one to achieve. We all know where these debates have gone in the past, most often times getting peoples panties in a bunch, but here is the question.

For those of you who are holding out for a "mature" deer, whatever mature might be in your book, if a mature buck walks by your stand but it has half its rack broken off, are you still pulling the trigger, afterall it is still a mature deer, or are you waiting for another mature deer with a nice rack???????
