Did a little testing today with the frizzen. I swapped it onto my traditions lock and put a flint on that wasnt sparking, Pulled the trigger and it just showered a stream of sparks. Put my traditions frizzen onto the cva lock, same flint, 1 tiny little spark. Seeing how both frizzens showered sparks with the same flint while on the traditions lock. i found that the cva frizzen spring was bent up and no good. No big deal, now i will have sure fire if i do my part. Just ordered a new spring off ebay. Good thing i have a back up flintlock its always good to have a spare to test parts on.
