I finally finished up the rifle so i took her out and shot a 30 yard target. 6" low with 50 grains of PYRODEX! Yes thats right! Pyrodex is a flintlock works amazing for me in this rifle lol. Once i clear the vent hole, i push a tiny bit of 4g into there and then prime my rifle. So far after taking 2 shots and then adjusting the sights, i got 2 out of 3 shots into the same hole. Im now shooting 70 grains of pyrodex RS and so far got it sighted center. The only problem i am having is ive run out of flints, so i have to go chip some out and make a new supply of flint. The rifle shoots beautifully @ 30 yards. The hole is leaves is huuuge!

The pan also holds the powder away from the touchhole, like it should do and the powder is perfectly inline with the shower of sparks. I really love this rifle now
