RE: Scouting Cameras
Muddy,
You dont need to go to woodies website. I can give you first hand experence with the (@)(*#$(%) Moultrie Game Cam II. They are a peace of junk.
I got one in Sept and set it out on a trail going to my food plot. This trail was about 3 to 3 1/2 yards from my camera. Fresh deer tracks in the field and on the trail. I check back in a week. Film taken GREAT!! Put another roll in. (First mistake. Did not develop it right then.) I went back again in another week and again the film was taken. Well I then take them to get developed.
Visions of world class bucks on each picture dancing in my head as I picked up the film. BUT whats this a photo of the empty field, and another, and another.......48 pictures of that same empty field. I call the company (I had reloaded the camera) and they told me to check the 3rd role and if it did the same to send it to them.
To make this story short. I have sent the camera back 5 times so far. They replace the board and camera and it still does the same thing.
They sent a rechargable batt to me for my trouble but the thing was dead (would not charge).
It has been at the company for about a week now and I am going to call the 800 number (which they did not list) and check on it today.
This is my story. Woodies has several and other sites have more.
Bottom line it is junk may work for a while but it will go out. Mine has never worked.
