I learned more just by SEEING that buck this evening than I have in the last 3 years of hard hunting. I've been going about it ALL wrong.....I knew there was a buck using the area, though I didn't know he was that big, but I saw him in an area I hunt, thinking it is an evening feeding area.......WRONG! Bedding area, which compeletly changes the way I will hunt it.
You are finally starting to get it.... Remember when I said that whatever you have been doing there in the past.... Stop and do the exact opposite? I was kidding but it looks like I was right
Also, summer feeding bedding patterns are much different than fall hunting season bedding patterns. Don't put all your eggs in that basket until you are certain this truly is a preferred bedding area.
