RE: knight disc
First thing I will say and prob. be critized for this--- if you are shooting pellets switch to powder. I have had a very hard time getting the pellets to shot very well in either of my knights. I have shot all different types of powder in my knight. We have three of them in the family right now and they all like the different bullets. Mine likes 120 grains of triple 7 with black thompson center sabots and hornady xtp 240 grain bullets. Odd combo but it will shoot 2 inch groups at 100 and touch at 50. Brothers likes 120 grains of clean shot with 250 grains barnes bullets and sabots. Fathers likes 120 grains of clean shot and 240 grain thompson center bullets and sabots. They look like hornady xtp bullets and may be. The one thing that all of these have in common is the sabot seems to be longer than the knight or hornady sabots. The sabot comes closer to the top of the bullet and for some reason all our guns like that. I picked a bullet and bought 5 different types of sabots kept changing until I got one that worked. All our guns like the top of the powder range better than anywhere else. 120 grains is top with loose powder. Good luck finding the right load is a pain with a muzzleloader but once it is done you will be the envy of your friends as they search.
