Default Protecting sappling pines

I planted about two dozen white pines last summer and when the cold weather hit late in the year the deer mowed them down to just a twig. Well I bought 100 more and planted them in what was a corn field along with a bunch of other trees but Im not realy worried about the deer eating them. Can anyone tell me what is the best thing to use to keep the deer from eating them. I dont want to use any repelant because Im wanting to hunt the field this year, so some kind of fence would be preffered.
