i agree with you kwilson....the doe population up there sux...all that b zone hunting and you see like 15 does to every buck if you are lucky...crazy...

rockie...nice to talk to you again...i don't know about scents...i know the cover scents seem to work when out still hunting or spot and stalk..as far as estrus and other attractants unfortunately for us the rut is way after our season ends and they are not effective..from my experience......i have rattled in and grunted in deer in D zone when a cold front came in during the last two weeks of the season, but usually because the rut is later i have not had too much succes with that....if you got your AO tag try scouting D zone after your A zone hunting and see if you can get on some deer later in the season when it gets colder grunting and rattling may work....doing soft grunts seem to be much better then rattling...
