First off I'm new to the board and want to say Hi. I've lurked for a while and got some great tips from you guys. I was never a decoy hunter. I was a puddle/pond jumper and needed some help making the switch. It's been a blast this year and I'm hooked. I almost enjoy waterfowl hunting more than bowhunting which I'm pretty passionate about!

Anyway, I hunt in North Central Texas and haven't seen the large migrations I'm accustomed to. I'm hoping the cold weather is pushing some birds down for our final weekend of duck season. Any of you guys north of the red river seeing any birds.

I have noticed increased numbers of geese in the last couple of days. Lucky for us, light goose season is extended until the end of March.
