Send it back and get a refund if you like. As for the phone calls that is something you just have to write off. Lately a lot of companies have gotten into the call you back habit, but never do. It is not good business in my book and so my alternative is, I avoid doing further business with them.

Personally I would mail the rifle back and get something different that I wanted.
