I paid $350 for my bare mathews Legacy 2 years ago. No problems with it yet. I sold my MQ1 after I bought this bow and am happy with it thus far. The newer bows are probably faster, but quiter and more shock free might be questionable.
If you can get a fair price on the bow, it will serve you well for years to come.
