I use a Winchester 120 with a 28" barrel. I put a Undertaker on it and I get consisant kill zone hits at 50 steps.( I like to take a bird inside 40 steps ). I have made a kill at 52 steps but I was kinda leary on doing it. The Federal 3"mag. with 2oz., #5 shot works best for me. Next in line was Remington Duplex 4x6 , 2 3/4"mag. I bought a Star dot the other day and I'll keep you posted on what I find works best through it.
