I have the Remington 700xcr in 270wsm. I just got done with barrel break-in procedure. Using Factor Winchester 150gr. Power-Point ammo. Winchester claims 3150fps. with their load. When I first started barrel break-in process I was getting 3174fps. and at end of procees was getting 3211fps. This was in 98 degree weather. Know it is time to start reloading and get ready for up comminghunting season. For scope I am using Burris Euro-Diamond 2.5x10 power with their ballistic plex retical. using Warn bases and rings. This is going to be my extreme weather gun. So far I am really Happy with it.
