Default RE: Shooting with both eyes open?

ORIGINAL: Francis_Qc

I've try a lot of thing to know my dominant eye... but in vain..
Sometime the test says that's my right eye is dominant, sometime the left.

Do you think that my eyes can beidentical?

Test i've done is...
-I but my hands in front of my hear, doing a " O " (with the 2 eyes open)
-I put something in the middle (something at about 15' from you)
-When the object is in the middle...
*close your left eye (if the object is in the middle, the left eye is your dominant eye)
* Close your right eye (if the objest is in the middle, the right eye is your dominant eye)

I've tryed to explain you what I'm doing... pretty hard to explain, but you help me to be a better english writter

Francis
Ive done this with the same results. What I would do is take both my hands and overlap them forming a triangle. Then hold them out as far as I could reach, and with both eyes open, center an object about 10 - 15' away. When you close your dominant eye, you shouldnt be able to see that object.

The only problem is that if you overlap your hands so that your right hand is closest to your face, then it indicates that your right eye is dominant. Same with the left.
