Default RE: squirrel problem

We had a similar problem too. Chewing the rubber, chewing the wood, chewing everything. But now that bow season is over in our area we take it a step further. We bait every stand with a 5 gallon bucket of corn for our Squirrel Eradication Tournament. 4th Annual this year!!!! Yeah it's just another reason to go up to the cabin but we make a weekend out of it. We wage war on the little guys that create havoc all fall long. We have about 15 guys that will be pounding the 223 acres of woods that me and my three buddies own. We shoot .22 rifles only. Then we give the squirrels to a Hmong family that loves them. The winner gets all the drinks he wants that night at all of the losers' expense. We hope to be able to book 50 this year. In years past, 41 was our best number. When the next year comes around...it's like we never killed one of them. Resilient little guys that they are. It's a great way to get away from cabin fever.

Let 'Em Go, Let 'Em Grow
