In the May/June 2007 issue of Petersen's Hunting Magazine was published an article promoting xbows, and the author Dick Metcalf even suggested that xbows be allowed in conventional archery season!

In the latest issue, August 2007, there is an editorialin a section called the BASE CAMP defending xbows...page 12....and in LETTERS...page 14-15..are two published letters...and responses defending xbows in archery season.
