Semantics, Scott.....but I never mentioned "shooting" proficiency. I was speaking of a hunter's overall understanding of procedure. Best shot in the world isn't worth a flip if the man behind the bow don't know where to aim.
And knowing WHERE to aim is completely different than actually HITTING where you aim.....I agree a hunter needs to understand the path the arrow will take through the animal, aim for the exit hole as it were....Spot on, but they still have to be able to HIT that spot...and I believe there are just too many variables to account for an accurate test of that....
