Default Bowhunting not allowed in UK

I live in the UK and as you are probably aware , we are'nt allowed to bowhunt over here . I have always loved the idea of going out with a bow and hunting small game ie , Rabbits , Pheasant , fox and red deer on my uncles farm , i normally shoot air rifle or shotgun and would like to try bowhunting . I have looked at getting a Fred bear Instinct imported to UK , so i can join an Archery club and start practicing . What route would i go , if i wanted to travel to America to , to tryBowhuntingfirst hand ? . Is their certain laws , dates , licences i need to check out first .. I am 36 years old and would like to hunt my first whitetail before i'm 40 . I know that may sound like a long way off , but they say practice makes perfect and that gives me some time to practice . Any help would begreatly appreciated .

Thanks for reading this thread .

Dave
