Generally when I am heading out to a tree stand in the morning, i grab an apple to eat along the way. When I arrive at the tree, i rub it against the base to try and spead some scent, then i drop it close by. Baiting is illegal in VA, so would you consider what I do as baiting and illegal, or simply as a cover scent?
