There's a lot you can do to make your 10-22 shoot better-even with just modifing factory parts. check rim depth in front of bolt for headspace. It's usually .065-.080,take extractor out and face front of bolt square at perfect 90 degrees till depth is appx. .045,as most rim thickness on ammo is .040-.043. That will help a bunch right there. also you can acchive a tighter chamber in factory barrel by facing .050 from rear face of barrel. then you will need to set shoulder back same amount and touching up extractor slot on right back. Same with trigger/sear/hammer-just a lil common sense can take you a long way. pm me or email me and I can give you more info and more detailed.
