Good question...for me, probably 3 years (last two and this one). I don't have a back up bow, so I'll leave it hunt-ready. That's my way of rationalizing buying a new one.

Guardian, X-Force, Cardiac and Drenalin are all on the list. Who know's, however, what advances the 2008's will bring us.
