Default RE: I have another question for someone in the PGC

Greg,

I had to read it several times but I think it says that the only mounts that can be sold in PA are those not killed from a wild state and those killedoutside thestateand clearly marked as such. As I read it, I could theoretically sell my Illinois mounts (NEVER!!!) as long as they're tagged as such

Once again, it's a law born out of good intent but one that probably incriminates 100 honest people for every poacher it was designed to get.
Iwalked through a flea market this past weekend and saw at least a dozensellers with a deer rack or two on the table.Wouldn't seem like justice would be served too well if they were all arrested and fined now would it?

Lets see... sell your deer hide for a few bucks to a tannery... a fine and three years revocation of hunting priveleges.... does that make sense?

How about the kid whotrades some squirrel tails, grouse fans and pheasant feathers to a fly tyer for some trout flies? Barter is considered the same as aa sale by the IRS. So the kid andf the fly tyer are subject to a fine and a year's loss of hunting priveleges. Yep, this law really makes sense!

This all kinda reminds me of thehalf baked idea that gun laws will stop gun crimes[:'(]
