You set the bar for yourself... Put your $$$ where ur mouth is.
Okay guys, time to set the bar for 2007...
I'll go first. I've got at least one buck in bow season for the past 13 or so years, and this year will be no different. I am 100% sure that I'll have the opportunity to take a legal buck - question is - how big?
I usually set the bar at 115". Anything below that is short of my own expectations, anything 3.5 or older would be a nice personal accomplishment.
This year will be a wild-card, b/c I have 2 new hunting areas, one of which is wallpapered with posters, so I might actually finally be able to bowhunt for the first time with limited outside disturbance. I know there are some pigs in the area, but not sure where... The downside is that I only have a few Saturdays to work with. My evening hunts will still be in the same areas near home, fighting the same crowds as usual.
So, I'll go out on a limb and say a115" buck would be satisfactory. Anything lower would be a failure, by my standards.

edit: I say we make this interesting: If you fall short of your goal, you owe $5 to the guy (or girl) who shoots the biggest buck in the entire bow contest. You keep your money if you meet your quoted "expectation."
Just to keep it interesting...
Anyone else in?
