People who want to do both should stop and give it some thought. For people who hunt all the time and consistently take game, it would be a no brainer. But I'm considering not doing the bowhunting one this year b/c of my lack of experience and the fact that I'm not a dedicated bowhunter. In my case, with the amount of bowhunting I am able to do I would be spread to thin to offer a reasonable chance of helping a bowhunting team (Now if we institute that doe rule I'm sure I would assist ).

I have been working really hard on getting a nice buck the last couple years, and come the rut I will have a rifle in my hands.

From what I've gathered, I will probably move more and more into bowhunting and may just do the bowhunting contest for 08.

Of course I will now proceed to kill a big buck with my bow and nothing with my rifle. Not that I would be complaining.
