Um, no it did not look good, at all?? It looked to me as if he hit shoulder.

matt: I said chad's gunna wait, BUT CHAD DIDN'T WAIT!
makes it sound like Matt was dissapointed in the shot.
Chad: NO I DIDNT, I DIDN'T. I drew when he was broadside, and thats what i wanted. Right when i got anchored good, he just turned and stuck his head in the "come er' deer"
Yeah your right, chad, he did turn to eat, and you shot anyway?
now this is what gets me...
Chad: But that deer wasn't ten yards and you could tell he was a big target, so i just put it on him and let it go!
He makes it sound like he didn't pick a spot, just aimed at the body and shot. Something tells me Chad got a case of "buck fever".

Sounds like Matt thought it was a good shot.
Watching this got me thinking, what would the Drury's say about the shot Chad took. I think they would rip him a new one, but Matt, who seems to be the head guy didn't even point out it was a bad angle to shoot.
