I hunt because I can, not so I have something to talk about.

Thats a quote by me.

? I Don't understand. You are here.
Yes I am here, and while this is a hunting site it isn't only hunting we discuss. While I enjoy hunting I like archery and firearms even more. I have been in some sort of shooting sports all of my life, but have only started hunting in my adult life. Never had anything against, just didn't interest me when I was younger.

If you read my posts I very rarely talk about hunting or comment on question asked about it. Unless it's a question I feel confident in answering or it is technical in some nature. I try to stay away from the ethics questions all together, although I have been sucked into a few. I love archery, and this is one of the best sites on the net for talking archery, period. That is why I'm here.

My points was that I don't hunt so I have something to talk about. I don't do it to feel as if I can fit or to have something to bs about at work the next day or after the season. Do I talk about it, sure if someone wants to. In case you haven't noticed I don't have any trouble giving my opinion. And I really like to talk. But that isn't why I do it. I do it because I like it and I can. There is nothing more to it. I rarely try to justify it with people. It is just an argument I won't get into.

I was really just trying to be a smart ass is all. I like to stir the pot a little every now and then as well.
