I mean, I guess if one is into that sort of thing, wanting the numbers, nothing wrong with it. But I got to ask, is everyone having issues with 250fps bows? I realize numbers are important and a big selling point in this day and time. And fast is cool. But this is pushing the hairy edge. And maybe counterintuitive for penetration, momentum.
To me speed means one thing, more room for error when ranging an animal. Not really an issue when treestand hunting whitetails, but is a crucial issue when spot and stalk hunting in open terrain. With all honesty, I am planning on getting a new bow next year, and Quick has me seriously considering the Iron Mace. If I could have one pin out to 35 yards, that is a serious advantage.
