I always think about mosquitoes.

When you kill a deer in the early season, by the time you get to the body it is literally covered in hundreds of mosquitoes. I don't know how they cope with that without a Thermacell or even a horse-like tail.

Then there's bobcats and coyotes. I don't think rain is high on their list of concerns (unless it absolutely floods).
