Default RE: Question on recurve flemish string???

ORIGINAL: mez

What wingbone said. The flemish twist strings have short strands of string material twisted into the ends of the string. to give a bigger diameter and stronger string at the ends, leaving the middle of the string thinner. Those pieces twisted in the ends stick out everywhere.
So is it a problem?
