Wood ticks are bigger and have a white spot on the back. THey're 1/8" maybe

Deer ticks are much smaller. I've never actually seen one. Aparantly there are some in Wisconsin, maybe I'm just lucky.

The ticks are supposed to be bad this year I've heard, but after several trips up north and two turkey hunts I havn't had a tick. No ticks at home though.
