This one has either a 1:66 twist or a 1:77 twist. I bought it strickly for Patched round ball. Round ball in a 54cal weights i think, 218 grains? Should be more than enough for deer and elk.
The CVA Mountain Rifles had a 1-66 Twist. It is what I learn to shoot muzzle loader on when I first got started. Also that was the begining of my love of the caliber. And they are excellent roundball shooters. You stick a 224 grain roundball with 100 grains of powder behind it through anything, and it is in a world of hurt.
