Default RE: Wildlife Ecosystem Management

Visitor - Why don't you take a moment and register - then you could respond back to questions or comments we might have.

As for your question regarding Wildlife Ecosystem Management:

Our primary goal with QDM is to create an environment for White-tailed
deer that will allow them to get the nutrition they need to sustain the best growth, and reproduction possible. As a result of food plots, habitat management, and selective harvest - Deer can meet their full potential as a game animal.

That said, our manipulation of the habitat will also benefit other species of animals, within the ecosystem. However, it is important to understand that while biodiversity is often a result of our managment practices - it is not the primary goal in our case. Also, with food plot managment - the ecosystem will undoubtably be somewhat different than a "wild forever" managment plan - simply because food plots skew the carrying capacity of not only deer, but other species as well, in comparison.

I hope this is somewhat the response you were looking for.
