Id go for the experience alone, if it turned out that you'd have the opportunity to take a nice management buck I'd do that too. While it might score higher than your "bull" the bull is a better trophey in my book. But it doesnt mean you cant shoot another deer. If you think it would take something from your "bull" then dont, but I dont see how its gonna hurt anything, and how often will you have the opportunity to shoot a 140".

As far as the fence thing goes, Like matt said, if its 1000's of acres then its different. Sometimes these outtfitters have to fence in so they can manage the herd cause the neighbors dont hunt the same way. Im not ashamed of that. Now if the deer are let out of a cage for you to shoot then thats different. But from what i gather this could be low fence operation, otherwise why would they have managment bucks??

A good friend of my dad's owns a high-fence operation, 1300 acres, and they do management hunts. There are bucks that just aren't going to get to be giants, not matter how old they are. That's probably what this hunt is going to be. He has some amazing genetics to draw from, but you also have to have does with good genetics to produce true giants, so some bucks just don't ever get to be B&C.
