Default Another item I lucked into.

Well, I was searching for a good external frame pack, and had all but settled on one, when I happened to luck into a Kelty internal frame pack. The Bison 3300 to be exact.

It has a huge interior and is equipped with a bladder pouch.

These two lightweight rods are actually contoured and form quite nicely against your back.

The top "hood" portion of the pack has a zipper along the back side allowing for even more storage space.

On either side of the pack are two pockets, both large enough to accomodate a spotting scope or other miscellanious items.

Another nice feature, which according to Kelty is new for this year, are two clips which allow you to clip your binoculars directly to your pack, within easy reach.

Along the back side is a zipper allowing you to reach into the lower section of the pack and pull out whatever small gear you may need without unloading everything.

The waist strap also has another small pouch, perfect size for my GPS.

Along the very bottom of the pack is a small velcro pouch that contains an orange waterproof rain cover. The cover is attached to the pack via an elastic strap.

All in all I think I got a pretty sweet deal. I'll use it this fall and see just how well I like it. For a free pack, I really can't complain.
