Gary - Dude, if you lived closer, I'd drive out and let you shoot this thing. I couldn't be more pleased with it. Seriously, anyone buying a new bow would be remiss if they didn't give the new HCA line a long, hard look. I was expecting it to be a bear to draw, a bear to hold, and a rattletrap on the shot. Wrong, wrong, wrong.

This bow is basically a Bowtech Allegiance, with upgraded limbs, an upgraded string, and a roller-guard (which keeps you from smashing your hand on the cableguard on let-down). Then, they're willing to stand behind it all the way down to 3gpp, and it's STILL at least $100 cheaper than the Ally.

The jury is still out on their arrows, I won't know until I get them fletched up. I'm expecting real-world hunting arrow speeds in the 340 range with them. Even if they suck, I'm sure the companies like Gold Tip, Easton, et al - have taken notice, and aren't too far away from releasing ultralight, ultra-stiff arrows that will void your warranty on any bow.... except an HCA.
