If you have the vacuum sealer or have a butcher that has one that works great. If not, wrap in saran wrap type plastic, and then put in a freezer grade ziploc bag and it won't freezer burn for a long time. I am still eating venison at least 2x a week right now but will probably be done with the rest of it by the end of July. Next year I will have to keep an extra one..........if the GF would eat it more often I think I could eat 4 in a year.[8D]
